Solo traveler finds a decent stay

Breakfast was good with solid options and fresh fruit salad. The staff at reception were super friendly helping me sort a taxi when I needed it.

my stay at the red lion was enjoyable overall. the breakfast was really good and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. the hotel has a nice feel and is centrally located, making it easy to explore. it’s ideal for a clubland weekend, and the signature rooms have great touches for relaxation.

The noise insulation wasn't great either. sounds from other guests and creaky floors made for a less than restful night. the kettle lead was so short it barely reached the desk when plugged in, which was a real hassle.
